Now, they have added another outstanding feature called “Snooze“. This feature lets you mute pages and friends temporarily for a certain time period. To be exact, you can mute all those annoying pages and friends for exactly 30 days. During this period, you won’t be able to see their posts on your news feed.

It might occur to you that you find yourself scrolling through junks of annoying or irrelevant posts from your friends or even the pages you liked on Facebook. This can be irritating as well as clutters you feed. But now, with the Snooze feature, you can get rid of them for an entire month. This feature has rolled out for the web version of Facebook as well as the mobile apps for Android and iOS.

Step 1: First of all, open Facebook on your browser and sign in. If you’re using the Facebook app on your phone, then make sure you have updated the app to the latest version from Play Store or App Store.

Step 2: Let us think that you are using the web version of Facebook, then go to your news feed and click on the “Three Dots” icon on the post of any friend or page that you want to mute. The icon will be at the top of the post.

Step 3: Now, a menu will show up and you will see an option just like “Snooze [page name or friend name] for 30 days”. Click on this option.

Step 4: When you have done that, the posts from the friend or page will be temporarily muted or snoozed for 30 days. You won’t see their posts on your news feed. If you decide to undo your action and start seeing their posts, then you can click on the “Undo” button.
