How to Send Stickers in WhatsApp

In this post, we will talk about how to send stickers in WhatsApp. WhatsApp has been adding many new features to its official app like Unsend Messages, Live Location, Group Description, and so forth. But, one of the most awaited features which the users are waiting like crazy is the option to send stickers during a chat. So, you would be glad to know that they have now added a feature called WhatsApp Stickers, which can help you send stickers in conversations. Now, you can share your emotions with others not just by emojis, but also with stickers.

Currently, there are 12 packs of stickers offered by WhatsApp which you can download and use while chatting. These stickers can be used during one-on-one as well as group chat. To use WhatsApp Stickers, make sure you have updated the WhatsApp app to its latest version. This feature is available for Android and iPhone as well. I will use the WhatsApp app for Android to explain the feature in this post.

So, let’s get started.

How to Use WhatsApp Stickers to Send Stickers during Chat:

To begin, simply launch WhatsApp on your phone and then open any chat you want. After that, select the Emoji icon visible on the right side of the message input field. After you do that, you can see the Emoji icon, GIF icon, and a new Sticker icon at the bottom of the screen.

Now, when you tap on the Sticker icon, you will initially see a sticker pack named “Cuppy” already installed by default. Now, you can browse through all the stickers from that pack and send to others just by tapping on them. There are around 20 stickers in this pack.

Now, if you want to add more stickers then tap on the “+” button visible on the right of the sticker menu. I have highlighted the button on the above image. As soon as you do that, it will open up the list of all other supported sticker packs which you can install and use in WhatsApp. There are 12 sticker packs in total like Cuppy (installed by default), Salty, Komo, Bibimbap Friends, etc.

Now, to install the new sticker packs, all you have to do is tap on the Download icon on the right of the desired pack. Once the sticker pack is downloaded, you can find them on the sticker menu and send during WhatsApp chats. Similar to emojis, you will find the frequently used stickers on a separate tab and also favorite stickers to access them quickly.

Conclusion:

So, this way you can send stickers in WhatsApp using the new WhatsApp Stickers feature. I think this feature is great as emojis are getting less impactful based on our mood swings. So, stickers is definitely a relief for those who share their emotions with other stuff rather than simple text. It is also an inbuilt feature, so you don’t need to install third-party apps anymore.
