Facebook has been making many changes to the pages for making them more exciting for both the page owner ass well as the followers. A few months earlier, Facebook added a feature that allowed users to add video to Facebook page cover. Now, another interesting feature has been added which allows users to create cover slideshow on Facebook pages. This feature is available on both Facebook Web and Facebook app.
You can choose multiple photos, arrange them in any order, and convert them into a slideshow. The slideshow will then be added to the Facebook page cover. The slideshow can be played by anyone just by sliding the photos back and forth. One important thing you must keep in mind is that the slideshow images must be at least 820 pixels wide and 312 pixels tall.
Here’s how to do that.
How to Create Cover Slideshow on Facebook Page?
Step 1: To begin, login to your Facebook account and navigate to the page on which you want to add a cover slideshow. Then click on the Change Cover option. Now, on the menu, you will see an option “Create Slideshow” on both Facebook Web and Facebook App.
Step 2: Select the “Create Slideshow” option and you can choose the photos that you’d like to feature in the cover slideshow. You can choose new photos from PC or use already uploaded ones. You can rearrange the photos in any order. Another option is that you let Facebook choose photos for you. For doing that, you can enable the “Let Facebook Choose Photos” option.
Step 3: After selecting the photos, click on the “Save” button. That’s all, now the slideshow will be created with the selected photos. The slideshow will be visible in the cover area of the Facebook page. The slideshow can be played by click on the Arrow button on the left and right.
So, now you know how to create cover slideshow on the Facebook page. Want to show something special to your page followers, then you can do that by adding multiple photos and converting them into a cover slideshow. One downside of cover slideshow is that it doesn’t play by itself until you slide the photos manually.
