How to Use Facebook List Feature to Create List Posts

HAK November 13, 2018 No Comments

Facebook has been making posting status more fun lately with the introduction of various features like Slideshow Videos, Did You Know, etc. Now, they have added another feature which they have named, “List”. This feature lets you post a list of things like places you want to visit, things most people don’t know about you, films you want to see, people you love, things that freak you out, and so forth. If you couldn’t find the list what you want to post, then it also has the option to create your own list by adding any title you desire. This feature has been rolled out for the web version of Facebook as well as the mobile apps.

This is a standalone feature which gets visible once you click on the “Write Something Here” text field. After selecting a list title that you want to post on Facebook, you can add multiple answers to that. You can list the answers by numbered list or bullet points. You can also change the background color of the list posts. It is ultimately a new way of sharing your thoughts, secrets, desire, etc. with your Facebook friends. So, in this simple article, we will see how to create list posts on Facebook.

Here’s how to do it.

How to Create List Posts on Facebook?

Step 1: Open Facebook app or Facebook web and click on the “Write Something Here” text field. Then move down to the all the options and select “List”.

Step 2: After you click on that option, a pre-created list of post titles will become visible. Some of them are Life Lessons I Learned the Hard Way, My Plans for the Weekend, My Biggest Pet Peeves, Moments I Wish I Could Live Again, Films I Want to See, My Lifetime Bucket List, and so forth. You can also see the option to create a list with your own title at the top of the list.

Step 3: When you select a list title, you can start adding items or answers to the title. You can add multiple items to a single list title. Let us take an eg; if you choose the list title as “My Plans for the Weekend”, then you can add multiple plans in the list post. Below the list post box, you can choose a variety of background for the post.

Step 4: On the off chance that you couldn’t find the list title that you’re looking for, then use the custom list title option to create your own list post. You can give any title to the list and complete the post normally.

Step 5: In the event that you have completed creating a list post, press the “Post” button in the “Compose Post” window. Now, the list post will be posted on your Facebook timeline and can be seen by all your friends. The list post generally looks like the same in the image below.

Conclusion:

So, what are you waiting for? Stand out on Facebook by turning your boring Facebook posts into something more fun and intriguing for your friends. Get rid of useless text posts with some fancy background. Give a shot to the new feature that lets you create list posts on Facebook. Shout out all your secrets, desire, fantasy, emotions, etc. in a more magical way on Facebook.
